Halloween in Bocholt @ night, a cache by Siedler_von_Bocholt

There is a parking lot at N51.50.946, E6.38.221.

Starting with Halloween 2007 you have the chance of getting to know Bocholt’s city forest at night.

This is a multi (loop road) with 9 stages and a final. The length is approx. 4 km. Following the first 8 stages you will find each with a symbol and a number. Stage nine provides a formula which gives you the coordinates to find the final (ammo box).

You will find the entrance if you go to the allotment „Am Stadtwald“ (N51.50.957 / E6.38.251) and follow the small path heading south-east to the first set of cat‘s eyes at N51.50.932 / E6.38.308.
From here on the yellow cat’s eyes will lead your way until you will find green or red cat’s eyes. If you find red ones, stop and look for the green reflectors; if you can see green reflectors you can find a stage within a range of 8 meters of the green reflectors. Most stages are close to the path, except stage 5: here you will find two sets of red cat’s eyes, this stage is a bit further away. Except for all these exceptions, a smooth walk in the park is waiting for you, the stages aren’t difficult to find. The only challenge left will be the detection of the path. We weren’t too generous with the cat’s eyes.
Please pay attention to this:

• most of the reflectors are at the level of 3-4 meters
• at a crossing, it may be advisable to sneak a few steps into the next road in order to find the next cat’s eyes
• use a Strong flashlight, because the yellow cat’s eyes are a bit darkish
• there is no need to dig around to find the stages
